From Collapse to Coming Home: My Journey with PKP Kinesiology
For a long time, I looked “functional” on the outside successful, busy, holding it all together; but inside, I was crumbling.
You know that feeling too, anxiety simmering under the surface, chronic stress that never really lets up, exhaustion you can’t shake and wearing “I’m fine” like armour while numbing with anything that helps you get through ; work, scrolling, food, drugs, alcohol or staying busy so you don’t have to feel.
Feeling nothing starts to feel safer than feeling everything… until it isn’t. Eventually, my own collapse came, I was hospitalised with drug-induced psychosis my reality fractured and my nervous system on fire. The system offered me one primary solution: medication and numbness (Medication is vital and life-saving for many people) but a part of me knew there also had to be another way of supporting my body and mind at the root.
So I began to choose a different path, I got curious and sat with my fear, I listened to what the silence had to say and started paying attention to what my body had been trying to tell me for years.
That’s when I found PKP Kinesiology.
Kinesiology wasn’t another coping tool, it was a recalibration.
Instead of asking me to endlessly analyse my pain, it helped me feel it in a safe, contained way, so it could finally move. It worked with my nervous system, my energy, my beliefs, my history; all the layers underneath the “I’m fine.”
Session by session, PKP Kinesiology helped me:
Release emotional and energetic build-up I didn’t even know I was still carrying
Soften my nervous system out of constant hyper-vigilance and shutdown
Unwind patterns that had been passed down through family, culture, and old survival strategies
Reconnect with the parts of me I thought were lost or broken
It didn’t turn me into someone else, it brought me back to myself. That’s why I chose to study it, live it, and now offer it as the core of my work.
How I Work With You
Now, I guide others through their own return to self with deep, trauma-informed PKP Kinesiology sessions.
This work is for the version of you who is overwhelmed, uncertain, exhausted but still quietly hopeful that there must be another way. It meets you exactly where you are, without expecting you to have the perfect story or all the right words.
You don’t need to explain everything, you need a space where your nervous system can finally exhale.
In our work together, we’ll:
Listen to what your body has been holding beneath the “I’m fine”
Work with your nervous system so you’re not always stuck in survival mode
Gently explore epigenetic imprinting and inherited patterns that no longer serve you
Release self-sabotaging beliefs and emotional blocks that keep you looping the same cycles
This Is For You If…
You’re tired of just surviving and want to actually feel alive again
You feel misaligned, anxious, shut down, or emotionally disconnected from yourself
You’ve “tried everything,” but something still lingers under the surface
You know it’s time to stop pretending you’re fine and start coming home to yourself

Healing isn’t about becoming someone new, it’s about remembering who you’ve always been and letting your body finally feel safe enough to be the real you!
My Approach to Healing Through Kinesiology
You might be the person who’s done everything right — therapy, journaling, breath-work, self-development, trying to stay “positive” — and yet you still feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you’re just coping through life.
On the outside, you’re functioning, on the inside, your nervous system is tired, your emotions feel heavy or flat, and there’s this quiet sense that something is off even if you can’t quite name it, that’s the place my work is designed for.
How I Work With Your System (Not Against It)
My approach to healing through PKP Kinesiology is gentle, grounded, and trauma-informed.
Instead of trying to “fix” you, we get curious about what your body has been holding onto — the stress, patterns, and old protections that are now keeping you stuck.
In our sessions, I combine a wide range of tools, including:
Muscle testing (to “ask” your body where stress is held and what it needs)
Emotional clearing and trauma-informed processing
Meridian and energetic balancing
Epigenetic and inherited pattern work
Subconscious belief work
Somatic and nervous system regulation techniques
Tuning forks, intention setting, and gentle energetic healing
We don’t just talk about what’s wrong. We access what’s been stored in your body: unprocessed emotions, inherited patterns, limiting beliefs, and trauma responses that are quietly shaping your thoughts, behaviours, and health.
Each session is completely personalised to where you’re at that day ; whether we’re working with emotional overwhelm, physical symptoms, burnout, anxious looping, or that quiet sense of “I don’t feel like myself.”
You don’t need to perform, have the right language, or explain everything perfectly, you just need a willingness to gently peel back the layers that no longer serve you.
What This Work Makes Possible
This isn’t a quick fix or a magic button. It’s deep, integrative work that helps your system feel safer — and when the body feels safe, everything begins to shift.
Over time, clients often notice:
Feeling calmer and more regulated in their body
Less reactivity and emotional overwhelm
Clearer boundaries and more self-respect
More aligned choices and relationships
Better sleep and physical physical health
We’re not trying to turn you into someone new, we’re supporting you to remember and reconnect with who you’ve always been underneath the survival patterns, the “I’m fine,” and the noise.
What is PKP Kinesiology?
PKP Kinesiology is a gentle, body-based modality that works with your nervous system, energy, emotions, and subconscious patterns.
Instead of just talking about what’s going on, we use muscle monitoring to “ask” your body where stress is stored and what it needs to rebalance. Sessions may include energetic corrections, acupressure points, gentle touch, sound (like tuning forks), visualisation, and emotional release techniques.
It’s not about “fixing” you, it’s about supporting your system to let go of what it’s been holding, so you can feel calmer, clearer, and more like yourself again.
FAQs
-
You might already have a great therapist or coach, but still feel like something is stuck in your body. You understand your patterns, yet you still feel anxious, on edge, or shut down.
Kinesiology works from the both the body/ nervous system up and mind down, rather than just the mind down. We don’t rely on you having the perfect words or a neat story.
Instead, we work directly with your nervous system and energy field to release stress and stored emotional charge.
Many clients find kinesiology is able to help them shift the things that traditional therapy and coaching can’t.

Kinesiology helps you get to the root of what’s holding you back emotionally, mentally, physically, and energetically; especially when you can’t quite put it into words, but you know something’s not right.
That might look like:
Anxiety, burnout, or constant overwhelm
Feeling stuck, disconnected, numb, or “not like yourself”
Self-sabotage, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or never feeling “enough”
Chronic fatigue, tension, insomnia or recurring physical symptoms with no clear cause
Navigating big life transitions or identity shifts (relationships, career, motherhood, grief, spiritual shifts)
Releasing trauma, old emotional pain, or inherited family patterns
Or just a quiet sense that something is off — even if you can’t explain it
If you’re craving clarity, reconnection, or expansion, kinesiology meets you there.
We work with your nervous system, meridian system, subconscious, and emotional body to gently release what’s been stuck, so you can feel calmer, clearer, and more like you again. -
You might have had support before where you talked about the problem, understood your patterns, maybe even got a diagnosis and yet, your body still felt anxious, numb, heavy, or on edge.
Part of you knows there’s something deeper going on under the surface – in your nervous system, in your body, in the things you can’t quite explain.
That’s where Kinesiology is different, Kinesiology doesn’t just treat symptoms it listens and doesn’t label or diagnose it decodes what your body is saying.
What makes it unique is that it works with the body, not against it. Where other modalities might talk about the problem, kinesiology lets the body show us.
Using muscle monitoring and the PKP framework, we tap into your nervous system, meridian system, subconscious, and energy field to find where stress is being held and what your system needs to rebalance.
We’re working with:
The subconscious stories driving your reactions
Your epigenetic imprinting (what’s been passed down through family and culture)
Your energy field and meridians, where stress and emotion can sit for years
The tension in your muscles and cells that says “I’m still not safe”

Most people arrive feeling a mix of curious and nervous that’s completely normal. We start by talking about what you’re moving through and what you’d love to feel instead.
Then, you’ll lie fully clothed on a massage table (for in-person) or get comfy at home (for online) while we use muscle monitoring and other gentle techniques to identify where your system is under stress. From there, we follow your body’s priority: using PKP Kinesiology tools to calm, rebalance, and release.
You might feel sensations (warmth, tingling, emotion), or you might feel very still and quiet. There’s no “right way” your system will respond in the way that’s safest for you.

No, you never have to share anything you don’t want to. Kinesiology is beautiful for people who don’t want to rehash everything in detail.
We can work with broad themes (anxiety, overwhelm, shutdown, “feeling not myself”) and let your body guide where we go.
If you want to talk, there’s space. If you don’t, there’s still plenty we can do, your nervous system, not your story, sets the pace.

Kinesiology is a powerful complement, not a replacement. It supports you in ways traditional methods often miss: in the body, the energy, the emotional root causes.
It works alongside medical care to help you access the parts of you that medical care alone can’t always reach. -
Most of my clients arrive saying exactly the same thing. They’ve journaled, therapied, meditated, breathworked, self-help’d and they’re still stuck in similar loops.
What often hasn’t been addressed is the body’s role in all of this; the nervous system that’s still in survival mode, the inherited patterns, the deep emotional charge that never got to move and the energetic stagnation that leads to pain and restlessness.
Kinesiology doesn’t ask you to try harder or be “better at healing”. It gives your body a safe, structured way to release stress and reset, which is why people who feel like they’ve “tried everything” feel the shifts and changes they couldn’t get anywhere else.
-
This depends on what you’re moving through, what you want to shift and your processing capacity.
Some people feel a noticeable difference after 1–2 sessions, but deeper, long-standing patterns typically need more time and support.
That’s why I work with pathways (like the Clarity & Confidence Kickstart) rather than offering random one-offs sessions.
In your free Clarity & Alignment Session, we’ll talk through your goals and map out a tailored plan, so you know exactly what to expect and we’re both clear on the journey you want to take.

Yes and this is actually where PKP Kinesiology can be especially supportive, because we work directly with the body, nervous system, meridian system, the subconscious, and specialise in emotional processing, Kinesiology is great for supporting people who are living with trauma, anxiety, or depression.
Instead of pushing you to re-tell everything, we focus on helping your system feel safer, more regulated, and less overwhelmed.
Kinesiology does not replace your doctor or medication, but it can sit alongside them as a complementary support helping your body release stored stress, find a calmer baseline, and make it easier to move through your healing with more steadiness and self-compassion.
-
Yes, it absolutely can work online, with online sessions, you’ll be in a quiet, comfortable space at home. We connect via video, and I use surrogate / distance muscle monitoring and the same PKP Kinesiology framework I use in person.
Many clients love online sessions because they can drop straight into rest afterwards and don’t have to travel while they’re integrating.
-
Yes, your emotions are welcome here and it’s what we specialise in helping you process. Crying, laughing, anger, shaking, or feeling nothing at all; they’re all normal responses when the body starts to unwind.
My job is to hold a safe, grounded container so that whatever arises can move through gently, without overwhelm or pressure.
You’re always in control, we go at your pace, and we can slow down, pause, or shift gears at any time.
-
There is no “good” or “bad” at this. Some people feel a lot during sessions; others notice subtle shifts that become clearer in the days after (better sleep, less reactivity, more ease, feeling a bit more like themselves).
Your job is simply to show up as you are and my job is to track and support your nervous system and energy. Even if your mind feels unsure, your body is still doing the work.
It’s why I don’t offer one-off “quick fix” sessions.
Everyone’s system is different, and real change takes a time and safety to unfold. We work with a tailored roadmap / blueprint for your body and nervous system, so the work can build on itself and create steady, grounded shifts rather than a single moment that doesn’t really last.
